GENERAL SALES CONDITIONS
TBC INDOOR GO KARTING – GENERAL SALES CONDITIONS
Definitions:
- Driver: An individual operating a kart.
- Spectator: An individual present at the venue but not participating in a race.
- Marshal: A TBC staff member supervising the races.
- Booking: A reservation made for participating in a race or event at TBC Indoor Go Karting.
- DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:
- All drivers must be at least 58’ tall.
- A photo ID (driver’s license or passport) is required to verify driver registration information; however, racing does not necessitate a driver’s license.
- Drivers suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to race. TBC may conduct breathalyzer tests as required.
- All drivers must register at our kiosk and sign a liability waiver.
Minors need their waivers co-signed by an adult guardian. - New drivers must attend a safety briefing detailing racing rules, flags, and kart operation.
- Drivers must wear clean, dry, indoor closed-toed shoes. Dresses or loose attire are discouraged. We recommend wearing pants, jeans, or shorts.
- RACING RULES:
- Wearing safety helmets and balaclavas (when using TBC-provided helmets) is compulsory.
- Drivers must attend the safety briefing when summoned.
- All must adhere to the marshal’s instructions, which are final.
- Stay in the kart unless directed otherwise.
- Avoid bumping into other karts or barriers.
- Abide by all signs and flags explained in the briefing.
- Aggressive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
- EXCLUSION FROM VENUE:
TBC may cancel bookings or exclude drivers, spectators, or visitors without refunding under the following circumstances: a.
- Suspicion of intoxication.
- Wearing clothing deemed inappropriate or offensive (e.g., clothing with explicit language or graphics).
- Exhibiting behavior that threatens the safety of oneself or others.
- Displaying aggressive or abusive conduct.
- EVENT BOOKINGS (8+ PEOPLE):
- A booking is confirmed once the full amount or necessary deposit is paid.
- The full payment or remaining balance is due before the event’s commencement.
- If fewer drivers attend than booked, the initial booking fee remains unchanged.
- Attendees must arrive 30 minutes before the event for paperwork and the briefing.
- For rescheduling, provide 48 hours notice. Rescheduled events are valid for 1 calendar year. Deposits remain non-refundable.
- External food or drink is prohibited in the main area. For catering, inquire about our conference room bookings.
- STANDARD ONLINE BOOKINGS (1-7 PEOPLE):
- Pay in full or settle the remaining balance before racing.
- Please arrive 30 minutes prior for paperwork and the safety briefing.
- 48 hours notice is required for rescheduling, which remains valid for 1 calendar year. Deposits are non-refundable.
- DATA PROTECTION:
- Personal data collected, such as photo ID, will be stored securely, used solely for registration and verification purposes, and will not be shared with third-party entities without consent, in accordance with data protection regulations.
- LIABILITY & EQUIPMENT:
- Drivers participate at their own risk. TBC Indoor Go Karting is not liable for injuries, except in cases of proven negligence. Damages to karts due to negligence or intentional misconduct will be charged to the driver.
- CHILDREN:
- Children under 11 must be supervised by an adult. Only those meeting the height requirement can race.
- FORCE MAJEURE:
- TBC is not accountable for failure to deliver services due to unforeseen external events, including natural disasters and power outages.
- AMENDMENTS:
- TBC reserves the right to modify these conditions periodically. Clients should revisit these conditions regularly.
- GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION:
- These conditions are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Disputes will be addressed in the courts of British Columbia.
